I had written this poem for a prompt of the week of Baithak and beyond. But uncertain weather got better of us and the session got postponed. So here’s the poem for you guys…

Have fun. Stay blessed…

Rough English translation

On a quiet evening, in mind's mind peeped a thought,
Away across the horizon, let's go to Safari.

the breeze brough a fragrance, and it was enchanting,
mind flew out with a bird, following the fragrance.

It landed in a nest, at a top of a tall tree,
and answered the call by river, when it looked down from tree.

it trevelled with the river, flowing through the valley,
when they reached behind the hill, it came out on a trail.

with the sky turning red, mind climbed the hill,
As Sun was setting, it took all the blue with it.

Now it's all dark around, nothing can be seen,
lights start to lit up, and mind comes back home.

Story about him, about her

Blue grass and Fireflies by Pascal Campion

This is the story about him, about her
They found solace with life, running faster.
They walked down to the park ..,
On the busiest street of New York!
It was the starry night and a clear sky
They laid on the grass without being coy!
Air was dry, and breeze was cold,
Hours just passed by,
But it was never too old!
Star rose and moved along their eyes …
Time flew by, words and hands were held tight !!!
A moment and the star breaks loose,
The wish of togetherness “they don’t want to lose ..! ”
Singleton is always incomplete
Just like yin and yang
The moment when they first met …
When bells did ring!
Violins joined in, playing the Romantic tune,
They swore to be there, and love till the moon (and back !)
The starry night was special .. time …
When they always said
You are mine
Years passed …
And stargaze became the celebration
They enjoy the journey
But they never worry about the destination !!!

Deep down in a ditch

Memory Opener by Olaf Hajek

Deep down there, Between those two memories,

That’s your place, Do you see it?

Look closely, how cute is that little dimple on your cheek,

Do you know, your smile gave it?

Your precious specs, curtained those beautiful eyes behind,

Trying not to give what’s on your mind,

Do you think they succeed in it?

Those constantly moving hands when you spoke,

Gave away your dance skill, did they knew it?

Your compassion for life nurtured with that joy-filled heart,

How could have you lost it?

Friends have been your lifeline, you haven’t met them in years.

How can you live without it?

I am asking you, honey, will you stop staring from the mirror,

I asked you a question, will you answer it?

What are you doing so deep down the ditch,

don’t see that ladder on your right?

It’s been years you have been down there, only god knows what you were doing.

Isn’t it time to come out of it?
