भरू बांगड्या सयांनो

आला श्रावण संख्यांनो,
चला जाऊ बाजाराला,
साज शृंगार करूया,
मास सणांचा हा आला.

भरू बांगड्या सयांनो,
गर्द हिरव्या रंगात,
सौभाग्याचे हे लक्षण,
किणकिणते हातात.

बांधू कंकण मोतीये,
मन खुलेलं क्षणात.
वाटे आकाश चांदणे,
मी बांधले हातात.

या बांगड्या लाखेच्या,
मज घेऊ वाटतात,
फुलतील इंद्रज्योती,
तिच्या साऱ्या आरश्यांत.

काय काय भरू हाती
नाही ठरत मनात,
का होते माझे ऐसे,
दरवेळी श्रावणात?
